Produce: Beer, Honey.
Hiver Beer was created from a passion to tell the story of British Bees and Beekeepers through great craft beer.
Beekeepers say that good quality honey should not be pasteurised, the same way that brewers talk about quality beer, creating a perfect match. Honey beer as a style is incredibly traditional in the UK and Hiver Beer plan to explore these old stories further whilst producing new craft beers to show what honey and malts can really do together.
Bees forage in a three mile radius to the hive, which means that the three honeys they source for Hiver are as varied and unique as the malted barley and hops that were picked during the recipe development stage. The honey is used as an ingredient rather than as an addition for flavouring and this results in an amazing and moreish Honey Beer
The ethos of sourcing ‘all-British’ is very important as they strive for a natural and quality driven brew and so Hiver will always go that extra mile to make sure that their suppliers are British too, even the people who make the glass, print their bottles and stamp their business cards.
Hiver beer donates 10% of profits to pollinator charities and support wildflower planting days run by organisations like London Beekeepers Association.
