"The Award Winning English wines that Paul produces are predominately still, however he does make sparkling wine and Paul's driving passion when establishing the vineyard was to produce red wine which may account for the 65% Pinot Noir planting"
MasterChef Gift Card would like to extend a warm welcome to a'Beckett's, Wiltshire's largest vineyard. Established in 2001 and now extending to over 11 acres, the vineyard is famous for its award winning English sparkling and still wines.
Wiltshire is characterised by it's beautiful rolling chalk hills and wide valleys and it's ancient landscape is noted for world famous landmarks such as Stonehenge and Avebury stone circles. Here you will find Paul Langham enjoying the rural life, happily tending to his grapes at his a'Beckett's vineyard.
This is a far cry from the corporate world he left in 1999 to embark on his true vocation of making fine English wines. After immersing himself in wine literature and joining the United Kingdom Vineyards Association, Paul soon progressed from novice to expert in the intricate art of wine production.
The vineyard has steadily grown over the years and Paul keeps himself fit tending the 10,000 vines which produce Chardonnay, Pinot Auxerrios, Reichensteiner and Sevyal Blanc grapes and Pinot Noir. The English wines that Paul produces are predominately still, however he does make sparkling wine and Paul's driving passion when establishing the vineyard was to produce red wine which may account for the 65% Pinot Noir planting.
Paul has now come full circle and has acted as Regional and National Chairman for the UK Vineyards Association from 2012 to 2015.
His wines have won many National and International awards and MasterChef Gift Card strongly recommends you try his wonderful English wines.
